What is Agricultural Technology?

Agricultural Technology is defined as the use of technological developments in agriculture to increase quality, productivity and profits. Smart Agriculture aims at managing the soil and product correctly, use resources more effectively and minimize environmental pollution in order to increase productivity in agriculture. With this system, the aim is to obtain more products with less input and labor. Smart agriculture is used in every process of crop production, from the processing of the soil up to the harvesting of the crops. At the same time, this technology is used in the animal husbandry process.

With the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) used in smart agriculture applications in today's technology, the whole farm has become monitorable and viewable. Temperature and humidity data can be easily examined with digital analysis sensors. Thanks to these systems, manufacturers will be able to make product and resource analysis much more easily. Tracking cattle in detail is another advantage of the digital age. The amount of feed the animals consume, the protein and fat ratio in the milk they provide, and disease rates can be controlled completely by the use of digital tools.
